Le Méridien Bora Bora Appoints New Assistant General Manager

Le Méridien Bora Bora recently announced the appointment of Sophie Brosse as assistant general manager. Well-traveled and widely experienced with more than 15 years in the luxury hospitality industry, Sophie will work closely with General Manager Boumédiène Ouadjed in overseeing all operations to assure guest satisfaction.

“We’re delighted to welcome Sophie to Bora Bora. Her experience working in French Polynesia and passion for the beauty and culture of the islands make her the perfect fit for enhancing the guest experience at Le Méridien Bora Bora,” said Boumédiène.

Sophie arrived at Le Méridien Bora Bora from Ledunfly SA, a private, family-run international residence operation based in Gstaad, Switzerland, where she was the residence and human resources director. Previously, Sophie spent four years as assistant general manager at Five Stars Hotel Pralong in Courchevel, France, and three years as Resident Manager at Hotel Maitai Dream in Fakarava. She started her professional career working in finance department of several companies such as Hawaiki Nui Hotel in Raiatea, and Standard & Poors’ Paris branch.

Born in France, Brosse has a degree in management and finance. She is fluent in French and English and has great knowledge in Spanish and Italian.

Le Méridien Bora Bora was recently awarded a 2013 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, recognizing the resort among the top-performing 10 percent of all businesses worldwide on the world’s largest travel site.
