Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti Hosts Local Events

In August, the Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti welcomed several local events, such as the “Tahiti Nui Body Building Cup” and the “IFBB South Pacific Championships,” where body builders competed for the number one spot on the island.

The “Miss Bikini” evening event also took place at the resort, and had a large audience – one of the largest crowds seen on the island so far this year.

Radisson Plaza Resort will be the host hotel for two major canoe races on the island of Tahiti – “Te Aito” and the “Super Te Aito.”

“Te Aito” is for solo canoe racers to paddle from Papeete’s famous waterfront, to Matavai Bay, where the resort is located and considered the finish line. Hundreds of racers are expected to compete in this event. The “Super Te Aito” – a 32 km race from Moorea to Tahiti – will put the best of the best canoe racers to the test.
