2014 Recent Trade Shows & Events

January 11 & 12, 2014
Travel & Adventure Show, Chicago, IL

The Travel & Adventure Show is Chicago’s largest travel show for consumers looking for travel inspuration®. Tahiti Tourisme shared a 30-minute destination presentation on the show floor that was well attended and very well received. This is the third year that TTNA has participated in this show’s Chicago location. Despite the weather, the show provided wide exposure with more than 20,000 consumers attending the two-day event.  We are hoping to return again in 2015 and are will hold two destination presentations next year.
Participating Partners included: Air Tahiti Nui, C.P.T.M. Aranui and Pleasant Holidays.

February 8 & 9, 2014
Travel & Adventure Show, Los Angeles, CA

The Travel & Adventure Show continued to prove their formula for a successful consumer travel show by again providing great exposure for the Islands of Tahiti to more than 32,000 consumers from the greater Los Angeles and Orange County area. Tahiti Tourisme North America held a well attended destination presentation and was featured in several travel interviews.
Participating Partners included: Air Tahiti Nui, C.P.T.M. Aranui, and Pleasant Holidays.

February 19 – 21, 2014
GMITE Los Angeles

Tahiti Tourisme North America was one of fifty Suppliers with a full day of one-on-one appointments with pre-qualified incentive buyers and meeting planners. TTNA covered a general destination overview and travel information on the destination as the attending buyers have been receiving an influx of interest from their clients for the Islands of Tahiti.

February 28 – March 2, 2014
New York Times Travel Show

Tahiti Tourisme North America and Partners participated in the New York Times Travel Show which had more than 15,000 consumers in attendance. TTNA had a prime booth location in the South Pacific section next to one of the popular cultural entertainment stages which attracted many consumers and provided an increased presence and branding exposure. Participating Partners included: Air Tahiti Nui, C.P.T.M. Aranui and Pleasant Holidays.

March 10, 2014
The Wedding Salon in Los Angeles, CA

Tahiti Tourisme North America was one of only a select few destinations represented at this very upscale bridal show. The attendees paid $75 per couple to attend this 4-hour tradeshow with vendors from all aspects of the wedding and honeymoon planning process. The Islands of Tahiti were on the top of many brides’ list as their top honeymoon destination with many saying they came to the show specifically to see us. Travel Store, along with two of our very active certified Tahiti Tiare Agents had a booth right next to us which created a convenient, “one stop shop” for many future honeymooners. Tahiti Tourisme North America will also be participating in the Chicago and New York Wedding Salon shows in the fall.
