Internet Connection Disruptions in French Polynesia

Ia ora na Partners,

It has been brought to our attention that MANA, the internet service provider in French Polynesia, will be conducting maintenance on the underwater fiber-optic cables, scheduled for this Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31 2014.

Internet access will be greatly limited throughout all of French Polynesia, and all sectors will be affected.

We encourage you to advise your clients that will be traveling in the Islands of Tahiti that they will likely not have internet access during this period. There is also a strong chance of a disruption to credit card processing machines. It is highly recommended that visitors during these dates be advised to carry cash.
Reservation departments at various hotels may not receive or reply to messages during this period as well. Please contact hotels via fax and/or phone when needed.

We apologize for the late notice as we just received this information yesterday.

We are proud to announce that the 118 islands and atolls that make up the Islands of Tahiti were just named the top pick in the 2014 BRIDES Best Honeymoons.
