Hotel Kia Ora Resort and Spa Named One of the “World’s Most Romantic Resorts” by Sport Diver

Hotel Kia Ora Resort and Spa was recently featured in Sport Diver as one of the “World’s Most Romantic Dive Resorts.”   Noted by the publication,  “You’ll cross off several fantasies from your list, starting with Tahiti pass diving.  Kia Ora and its on-site Top Dive Shop are situated just north of Tiputa Pass, a site where tidal changes bring mantas, overwhelming number of barracuda, and eight varieties of sharks, including tigers. If you’ve always wanted to cozy up in an overwater bungalow, the resort has 10, in addition to 50 villas- 25 of which have private plunge pools.”

Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa Announces Renovation Project

Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa is delighted to share some very exciting news regarding upcoming renovation projects.

Starting November 17, 2014, 42 villas in the 300 series of overwater bungalows on the right hand side of the resort will be closed until the end of January 2015, in order to allow some exterior maintenance and landscaping work in that area. During this time, all the other villas will be open and the resort will be operating normally. Between February and April 2015, Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa will proceed with the complete interior renovation of all bungalows in the 300 series. This should not impact visiting guests, since it will only affect the interiors of a select group of bungalows at any given time, until all are completed.

All overwater bungalows in the 300’s area will be completely refurbished, the lighting in order to give them a more contemporary look, while maintaining the traditional and unique Polynesian style.

Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa has just completed the renovation of their model room and are happy to announce that they will soon have a new category of overwater villas featuring:

  • Private swimming pools
  • Bed and a bathrooms facing the lagoon
  • Larger terraces and sundecks
  • Catamaran-style nets over the water

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora Named #1 Hotel in the South Pacific by TripAdvisor

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, named the #1 Hotel in the South Pacific in the 2014 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards, recently completed a resort enhancement project. Adding to its inventory of premium accommodations, the resort added three two-bedroom overwater bungalows and added seven plunge pools to existing overwater bungalows.

The new suites offer two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living room areas and a large outdoor deck with private plunge pool, as well as private lounging and dining areas. These suites boast views of majestic Mount Otemanu, and measure in excess of 2,160 square feet (201 square metres.)

The addition of plunge pools to seven existing overwater bungalows further increases the resort’s inventory of  accommodations.

In total, the Resort boasts 100 overwater bungalows, including three two-bedroom suites, and now 15 overwater bungalows with plunge pools. Additionally, the Resort offers seven expansive two and three-bedroom beachfront villas, ranging from 3,228 to 5,380 square feet (300 to 500 square metres), all complete with private plunge pools.

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora is currently offering the Stay Longer – Fourth Night Free package, which includes accommodations in an overwater bungalow, overwater bungalow with plunge pool, two-bedroom overwater bungalow suite with plunge pool, or beachfront villa; and daily breakfast buffet for two.
